In order to try out the new MELPA channels add the following configuration to your Emacs init.el.
snapshots.melpa.org as alternative to (unstable.)melpa.org:
(add-to-list 'package-archives '("melpa-snapshots" . "https://snapshots.melpa.org/packages/") 'append)
releases.melpa.org as alternative to stable.melpa.org:
(add-to-list 'package-archives '("melpa-releases" . "https://releases.melpa.org/packages/") 'append)

@minad@mastodon.world Note that MELPA snapshot users would want to clear out their existing yyyymmdd packages first and reinstall from the new location, as the new snapshot versions will mostly be lower than the old ones. @tarsius@fosstodon.org @oantolin@mathstodon.xyz @mousebot@todon.nl

@minad@mastodon.world @mousebot@todon.nl @sanityinc@hachyderm.io @tarsius@fosstodon.org Bit the bullet! It went smoothly. I added both repositories though I doubt I'll pin anything to melpa-releases.
