It just works, and you can sort/add most things from the GUI, with you only having to go to the terminal for a few niche things. It depends what you do on your machine. But if it's basic browsing, email, discord, gaming, it'll do all that (bar anti-cheat games). Though if enough of us move, anti-cheat will eventually be forced to follow or die. I've been on Mint since the end of Win 7, haven't looked back.
