Looking at recent AI escapades, I have a simple solution, maybe workable, maybe not. Instead of elaborate safeguards, legislate a requirement on any automated system that when asked “are you a bot”, the system must answer “Yes”. Criminalize coding or use of systems that break this rule. Thoughts?
