For me the point would be to tell them I’m going to keep grabbing power until they stop me. Give them the steps, as much as I can to help them stop me, and if they don’t, maybe their replacement will, as I will remove them from office, power grabbing and all. Worst case for me is that I become the villain, and everyone gets healthcare and other safety nets.
