I sometimes wonder if users wouldn’t be better off with longer update cycles for browsers and IDEs.
But I like how VS Code is handling updates now: It simply shows a button at the top that says “Update” whenever a new one is ready.

@rauschma@fosstodon.org The great thing about VSCode these days is, when one doesn't use its #LLM tooling, there's essentially a feature freeze. Updates become entirely unnecessary
