As I lay in bed tonight, reading a book, Rey has curled up next to me. She’s resting on her side, curling up with her head on one of her legs. Her breathing is calm and slow, and eyes closed shut.

Rey picked the same spot on the bed to rest with me, and hope she’d get some of my brunch. I saved some egg for her, and broke it into pieces and put them back on my large plate. After she finished eating, she didn’t want to move. The plate became her new pillow. Later I moved it out of the way, and she went back to sleep curled up. #DogsOfMastodon
