But they really just shrink until they vanish, from what I’ve seen. I’ve done the telescope thing where you can see it appear to go down “over the curve” — until you aim a scope at them. In any event, the geometry doesn’t really work out on either Earth shape, for them to be seen “going over the curve” — as it’s far too close
