@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org I seriously doubt it is illegal to claim you support a free and independent Israel and Palestine, but I am not a lawyer and don't know the laws of every country on planet Earth, though it would be saddening to learn of such a thing. That said, I do know from experience that both extremist sides don't often see peaceful coexistence as a solution, even though it should be. But I am speaking as a humanist who wants everyone — you, me, the random who reads this post — to live a life filled with peace, love, and happiness. I want everyone to have a healthy and prosperous life. There was a time when that was an acceptable stance, but today, there are unfortunately people who would find that innocent viewpoint disagreeable. @HailsandAles@metalhead.club
