Just opened my Easter #whisky order. I’d tossed a coin and included a Thomson Bros Mystery Malt. It cost £60. The Thomson chaps aren’t going to sell you rubbish, but you might get an interesting five year old worth half the price. I got lucky - a Tullibardine 19yo. And oh it’s lovely. Can’t nail down the taste completely, but it’s subtle - not an Oloroso cosh for once.
