Gearoid Reidy in the Japan Times this morning telling us that Takaichi is mainstream for JP politicians, not right wing; she just says it out loud.

@rdviii@famichiki.jp what is she saying? Something out of the ordinary for the LDP? From my uninformed perspective, they seem to have wandered back and forth across the conservative spectrum for 70 years but mostly without the intense ideological (pathological) focus of US GQP members.
