I don't believe in ordinary individual investors trying to time the market, but if AI is a bubble and stocks end up giving back a lot of gains that could have been cashed out, I'm going to do a lot of "you knew it!" kicking myself.

People are mentioning shorts so I guess I should say: this is a question of rebalancing across big fund categories in my retirement accounts. I don’t make any *individual* transactions at all.
