An Unofficial Anthem: Spirit of the West While they had a long and celebrated career, Vancouver's Spirit of the West is immortalized by one song: 'Home for a Rest.' This frantic, Celtic-infused folk-rock tune became an unofficial national anthem, a guaranteed floor-filler at university pubs, weddings, and parties from coast to coast since its release in 1990. #Canada #SpiritoftheWest #HomeforaRest #FolkRock 🇨🇦 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_of_the_West
