The Democratic Party should hang signs in all the members’ offices with the price of diesel tonight. For a lot of voters this was the Gas Price Referendum, and if they don't see improvement in their economic situation in 2 years, the pendulum will swing right back.

@slyborg@ohai.social @benroyce@mastodon.social they better get some shit done and start immediately. They should expect not to be in power in 2 years. The AI bubble is going to pop tanking the economy and the public will once again blame Dems. This is a short window that will likely slam shut. I'll be happy if I'm wrong.
