fedi, can we just never do another meta about a person’s suicide attempt that was completely wrong and fucked up. I still don’t know what that was about I hope that person is alive I don’t know who they are or need to this should just never have been a spectacle as far as I can tell the controversy here was some of my users saying not to call 911 on a suicidal person ? if that’s so they are correct, doing that in the US will get cops called and that could guarantee that person’s death, if you disagree you are just at this point willfully ignorant about what cops do to suicidal people in the US on a regular basis. they murdered my comrade Scout, they were suicidal and had a multi-tool in their hand, pigs responded with bullets. this is normal in the US if you are not too privileged to see that you live in a fascist regime. some practical advice : in the US you can sometimes call and request a medical lift to get an ambulance without pigs, do not mention a suicide attempt whatsoever (this may not work in all jurisdictions it’s best to be connected to local activists who would know better how the emergency response operates there)
