@Setok@attractive.space Well, the 18 Pro and what will probably be called 18 Ultra. Anyway, I think that’s the right call. Prices for the plain 18 will in all likelihood go up from what the 17 costs now when it’s released in the spring.
I’m going to hold onto my 15 for a couple more years at least.

@saruwine@mementomori.social yeah that was my logic too. I needed to do something (13 Mini falling to pieces) and there are some excellent offers on the 17 and 17e at the moment (the latter being cheaper than the 16e with less storage!). All because ‘a new one is coming’. Except there supposedly won’t be until spring. Rumours also say Apple will be bumping prices because of components. The fold would be interesting (finally a smaller phone?) but I’m unwilling to spend 2000+ on a phone.
