@norootcause@hachyderm.io here is my point of view. I have yet to find any AI document that advance my understanding of a subject. All the stuff you mention using them for? I tried and found them unhelpful or deeply wrong in nearly all cases. When I say they are a wrong tool, i literally means it. I have never had a positive interaction with chatGPT or google whatever name for their auto answer. They always, to me, have been a waste of time. And I tried all the techniques people offer me. I don't know what it is about me, but it seems I lack the human secret sauce that make them useful to others. So... If they never advance my understanding, me refusing to waste time reading it make sense. And yes. Even tightening sentences, it usually fuck it up.
