@Quasit The library was my refuge in elementary school. The librarian adored me & protected me, when I was at school.

@PhoenixSerenity That's how it was for me, too! Our librarian was Ms. Altman, and she was WONDERFUL. I spent as much time in all my school libraries as I could. Books and authors were my only friends. I used to search through the library, and when I found a book I liked I binged on everything the author had written.
