Before I wander off and pass out lemme just send a wrapup post for this week's #monsterdon Vincent Price 2fer: The Bat & The Fly- Thanks as always to our host @Taweret@timeloop.cafe for coming up with a great slate of October Movies, @miru@social.miyaku.media for hosting the streaming and double feature, @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for the excelleng cocktail and trivia, and @LuciaG@wandering.shop for the Bingo! We had so many sights to see this week: - Agnes Moorehead IMO absolutely stealing the movie away from Vince, who did a great performance as well - The horrors of neural network colorization on full display. - We used the same neural network to fart out some subtitles. - A LOT less fanfiction on this than I would have expected given some of the tension on screen - A double feature featuring both a Brundlefly and a Flybrundle. I don't remember if the Cronenberg remake even _had_ a flybrundle, The o.g. did though. - Watch out for the Rabbit Bats, they bite! Seriously though these two were both good movies. Laughed/Cried, better than cats etc...
