In Milan, my city, they say they'll bring in some 500 military (in addition to the two or three thousdand troops between police and Carabinieri (Italy's Gerndarmerie, so they are military too). And of course to make things plus sympa thy are also planning to bestow the judiaicary powers of police on the newcomer military. Also, there have been a few hundreds arrests already, all minors.
to top it off, the Ministry of justice is calling for treating minors 1/

@laetsgo@mastodon.xyz as adults when it comes to damages to property. I would like to see the same attention to property when it's a crumbling school. I feel you, and I do not know what you should do. Istinctively, I feel your daughter is right, and I am in awe. Still, it's daughter. Whatever you choose to do, I' m with you both.
