@sheepfilms@mastodon.social #Alt4You A 17 second video short. Begin close-in on a courtesy USB power port on a passenger bus, labeled "BUS USB". Expand to wider shot, as a bus passenger plugs a keyboard in. Passenger keystrokes Ctrl-C, then repeatedly Ctrl-V. Outside the bus window, a European/British cityscape is revealed. Additional 2-deck buses begin to appear, on the street directly, or in midair, then falling to the ground. After the seventh pasted bus, the gag cuts to black.

@sheepfilms@mastodon.social video started buffering exactly as the USB was plugged in which would've been very fun if it was intentional

@sheepfilms@mastodon.social It becomes a horror film if you realize that all of *those* buses *also* have a puckish passenger plugged in inside. Welcome to the doubledeckepocalypse. Get under something sturdy, quick. 🎶I feel like a copy of a copy of a copy of a....🎶

@sheepfilms@mastodon.social it’s called the Universal Serial Bus port. Of course it would summon busses into the universe one after the other

@sheepfilms@mastodon.social tech people spend so much time dissing power-only USB-A cords and saying how they're the worst thing in the world, but this is an absolutely banger use case for keeping a power-only cord around.

@sheepfilms@mastodon.social when I was in the hospital, the bed had a couple of USB-As on it, and I was very curious what I could plug into it. I should have tried a joystick.
