@mathias@sharkey.world Hi Mathias, i'm not a softwaredeveloper but, i tried this : github.com/Simon-Laux/hermes-d… on a mac mini 4 with running ollama and hermes agent, but couldn't get it to run. Good to read about your successful way to start it. So there is hope 😆

@olliausstuhr@libranet.de Oh, cool. I had missed that one completely. I had my Hermes build his own gateway for DeltaChat. I normally use Element (Matrix) when I'm out and about (i.e. away from my CLI/TUI) as it can handle Markdown, and unlike Telegram doesn't present messages in a stampsized bubble (apart from that Telegram isn't E2EE as default too), so I mainly wished for a backup via DeltaChat (my fave messaging app). @olliausstuhr@libranet.de As that (Simons) solution has more features enabled than I have in mine I'm going to test it out. I will be setting up a test-profile (in Hermes) for that purpose, so I can test in isolation. Thanks for the tip!
