They forked almost 15 years ago. Of course they share some code, but not a lot. And even still… so? Or course it helps diversify when blink has nearly 80% market share.

But you’re just adding to another big player. WebKit going from 14% to 15% doesn’t actually do anything. Getting 1% market share with a completely different engine would definitely turn some heads
