Hopefully, we will someday reach the point where prison slavery is automatically delegitimizing the way we have with chattel slavery and serfdom. But are you really trying to say that those are equally bad? Do you think the Civil War was pointless, then? Was the South justified in fighting back since the North hadn’t abolished prisons? Also, China doesn’t have private prisons.
