When Lynette Sharp was on the witness stand, this unbelievable shadow of a human being was bantering and joking as she betrayed every one of her supposed comrades... Truly hope everyone is bullying the fuck out of her in prison

[When asked if she recognized anyone in the room as Song, Sharp replied, "Maybe. It's a really crowded room."
Judge Mark Pittman asked Song to stand.
Sharp said she recognized him, smiling and saying, "Nice suit."
It was through Song, Sharp said, that she met Autumn Hill, another defendant. The judge had Hill stand up so Sharp could see her.
"I remember that hair," Sharp smiled, referring to Hill's long, brown curls.]

And one of the most infuriating parts of this grotesque coverage from This American Life... there are SO MANY critical things to talk about with this case and the obvious precedent it sets. Did they talke about the 30 year sentence for the person who moved a box of zines? Or the fascistic nature of NSPM-7? No. This was the most shallow, distorted, infuriating way they could have possibly covered one of the most important criminal cases in decades. I just have no words. Really feeling the furious pangs of having recently cut out drinking cause holy god is media malpractice like this the kind of thing that drives one towards the pub. Fucking hell
