One thing I’d like to see happen as #Canada makes new friends in the world: Let’s have more #books by writers from other parts of the world to replace all the tired old American stuff we’ve had pushed on us for 100 years. I’d like to go into an independent bookshop and see no American books at all. Instead, alongside MORE Canadian authors, I want books written and published in the UK, Norway, Ukraine, Senegal, Kenya, Togo, and Mauritius. #Bookstodon #ByeAmerica #OpenMind
