Why can't we have good things? #mullvadgate is a whole mess - for me also on a very personal level, as I have, foolishly maybe, made their brand a big part of my personality. It is with great sadness that I write this. I have trusted, promoted (as anyone near and dear to me knows all to well), been proud of what connections I've had with and proudly worn and displayed Mullvad merchandise everywhere (RIP socks5 socks). I can't see how they can recover to be honest. I have a hard time seeing them under current leadership retaining the amazing talent* often driven by more than a paycheck - nor it's customers under current ownership. As for a change in leader- and ownership - if you had spent this amount of time and effort building something from the ground - would you abandon it? Just throwing this idea out there: Gravling VPN workers co-operative anyone? *apparently employees are already looking for new positions - with the talent they bring as well as having Mullvad on their resume I assume they won't have to look for very long. #mullvad #mullvadvpn
