Long, thoughtful piece by Matthew Quest. As I told Matthew, I mostly agree with this. But it's not a question of whether we should use people like Mamdani as a primary vehicle. Obviously not. Mamdani, AOC, Bernie, Lumumba, &c, are tools with a limited use, in the box with many other tools at our disposal.
