A major accommodation that autistic and ADHD people can give themselves is reducing the number of decisions we need to make. This could look like is automating decisions, relying on random chance, or drafting standard operating procedures for ourselves, such routines or checklists

@structuredsucc …or buying many instances of the same hoodie and comfortable jeans, so you don't have to think about what to wear.

@structuredsucc @PhoenixTril +1 this! A few refinements I recommend: * If you buy the Many Worlds hypothesis, use a QRNG. My favorite is https://www.quantumcoinflip.com/ . You can even do things like "do A if two heads, otherwise do B". * There's this concept called "trigger-action plans". You want to set up a habit, or be ready to spring on something without hesitating to decide, so you fix in your mind that when you see trigger T, you will do action A; get all the thinking done in advance. * Checklists are great, and you can specifically divide those into "scheduled" and "floating". Scheduled should be separated by date and then time, and floating should be separated by priority - critical/high/medium/low.
