@carlmalamud@official.resource.org sadly, we are at a place where i now download manuals for anything electronic before i buy to be sure it doesn't require internet or app or both. it's so out of control that i've seen a toothbrush with an app...

@carlmalamud@official.resource.org 2 years ago I bought a heater and I haven't used it because there are no physical swithes on it. I need an app to run it. Some day when I'll have some time, I'll buy an on/off switch and a potentiometer and jailbreak that fucking thing.
