@MaddieM4@raphus.social You're probably right: this applies wholesome to professional software-making. But also to open-source projects. Just recently I've read about TIC-80 going AI, which doesn't make sense for a project that is focused on building a fantasy console and its games the old ways. This pushes many people away. If only a handful of artists stay, then a lot of the art disappears.
