Hey all, I'm looking for work! My contract with a private research foundation is not renewing this month for financial reasons, so I'm on the search—somewhat urgently—for a new remote job! If you or your organization could use my services as an Electrical Engineer, Contract Manufacturer, Product Designer or Creative Technologist, please reach out! My CV can be found here: https://www.nickpoole.me/cv/ #getfedihired #GetFediHired

Because my work was open source, I'm able to share what I was up to with Rising Tide Research Foundation this past year. Enjoy! https://www.nickpoole.me/2026/09/05/year-in-review-with-rising-tide-research-foundation/

I also have experience making video content and writing both informal blog posts and technical/instructional documents. If your org could use a unique public-facing personality, I'm open to hearing about it!

@North@chaos.social see if shure.com job postings has anything. Tell them I sent you and just ignore the words hybrid/in person on the postings... that's what they _want_ but no single thing in any job posting is a deal breaker. Good candidates are hard to find.

@North@chaos.social Where are you searching? Even remote probably restricts you to geography because of work permits?
