So, apropos of absolutely nothing, I think we have enough evidence to suggest that allowing yourself to use LLMs on a regular basis does odd things to your brain. Among other things, it seems to make folks more irritable and less capable of dealing with criticism and for some this seems to lead to actual radicalisation. I have ideas about the mechanisms, but I'm not a psychologist or sociologist. But I hope people do actual studies on this while we still can.
