Reddit is pushing for there site to be login only, similar to a lot of these other Social Media sites, I think it's time... Time for people to move away from these platforms more and move to safer alternatives. I'm trying to work out good ways we can make it so people find places like Lemmy and stuff more. Especially if they are researching something and don't wanna be logged in 24/7. One way could be by moving the posts on these platforms over to Lemmy instances... That would be kinda good but would take a while, Wonder if @vincent@r.town could create a Reddit bot soon similar to the bird.makeup and kilogram.makeup ones. #Reddit #ClosedInternet #SocialMedia #Bridge #FediTools

If we don't see that someone is working on this, I might see about working on a little bot to post up some posts from select reddits and post them onto Lemmy Instances but I really want to make sure it makes sense to do so along with the users of these Lemmy Instances aren't overwhelmed with mass posts from X-Subreddit as that won't be useful. One of the most useful things about old posts in Reddit was the fact there was answers to questions you might have had, so maybe just carefully finding select posts with questions and then posting the question again? maybe with the answer after an hour or so to help others? I'm not really sure. #Lemmy #Reddit #Communities
