@kajer@infosec.exchange @bakachu@infosec.exchange @cR0w@infosec.exchange @logaldeveloper@infosec.exchange @catsalad@infosec.exchange Fun fact all of the options except for "Default (Undefined)" resolve this issue (even the HDR10 one does) but also screw up the colours. All I want is to reduce the brightness. Why does HDR bypass the brightness slider? Whoever thought that was a good idea should be forced to look into a bright cold white led light at least once a day until the end of time...

  • @agowa338@chaos.social @kajer@infosec.exchange @bakachu@infosec.exchange @cR0w@infosec.exchange @catsalad@infosec.exchange I always thought it was silly when I would scroll a website and see an HDR image just stick out like a sore thumb, but I never thought much beyond “silly”. Now I realize, beyond even this LinkedIn fuckery, that this can be used maliciously and it definitely wasn’t thought out well. Heck I’d be happy if there was a hint of some kind to long press an image to preview it in HDR or something. Idk. This is just silly, this whole thing.
