@carapace@mastodon.social we both got stuck at the 16-bit subtraction. I just didn't have time, and the kid is really stuck :)

@bonkers@nerdculture.de Hmm... subtracting 1 is the same as adding 65535 (2-to-the-16th - 1) if your adding circuit wraps.
