@cyris@troet.cafe I meant if you feel that you need images - you can pay artists to help you out. But if you have passion, it will shine through and catch and audience. But it seems that you are really honed in on comparisons instead of focusing on your craft. And comparison is the thief of joy, as they say. Your english is really good too by the way. I bet you could write using it if you wanted to. (: It is my second language too and I use it to write my books.

@cyris@troet.cafe Yes, pictures help with marketing, and yes, you need covers for your books. I've been working on making my own covers for years. And yes, just like Lana said, I was bad at it. At times, that hurt, but I also went on to practice making covers. And now, years later, I think I have finally reached a stage where I can make covers that don't suck. Until then, I paid artists for my covers. Making it as a writer is a very long game with many learning curves. Keep doing. @hiisikoloart@writing.exchange
