Like any program, it follows rules: It is - reliably - both reliable & unreliable in precisely the same way. Without RNG, it's a book - the same every time you open it.

@emilyyoung@tech.lgbt The way I look at it: It's non-deterministic. You can't predict if it'll be correct or wrong. You hope for the best. And sometimes it's wildly way off.
