Odd how words have changed meaning or come into vogue as the goto shortcut for a quick intrinsic understanding of a concept.
First up is ... 'toxic'
A word historicallly used in relation to noxious chemicals. It's use evolving along with 'poisonous' which again related to liquids that might do harm but now reflects the idea of 'anything' harmful whether it be solid or conceptual.
The media though like to skip 'harmful' or 'poisonous' and jump straight to 'toxic' for the salacious spin.
