I am autistic, and thought I lacked imagination for a number of reasons. First, I have aphantasia, no visual imagery. Second, I don't play like others, I never have in all my 48 years. Parallel play is sometimes fun, but like in a give me some of my own LEGOs kind of way. I have only figured out how to use my imagination in limited ways within the last month.
