@plzupgrademe@fedi.txw.ca My next project is to get an unlocked Android phone. I probably won't even get a SIM, I just want something to run Android apps on that's not a Chromebook. The experiences are not at all identical. I have a Galaxy S25, an iPhone 16E, and an Edge 50 Fusion for testing at work.

@plzupgrademe@fedi.txw.ca I've pretty much settled on the Pixel 10A. Motorola devices have a headphone jack, but they only get three years of OS updates. I do appreciate the faux-leather back, a welcome departure from the zero-friction glass of most other phones.
