I think it means specifically in the context of long road trips, the kind where everyone gets out to stretch their legs and take a piss while stopping for gas. On the other hand, I was under the impression that EVs simply didn’t have the range for such activities, so IDK.

My EV has a 330 mile range, and a full recharge at home costs me $4. It’s amazing. If I remember correctly, the new BMW 3 series EV is like a 430 mile range.

I was under the impression that EVs simply didn’t have the range for such activities, so IDK. Maybe 10 years ago that was true, but now ranges and charging speeds have gotten much better. The infrastructure of gas stations is still better for easy road trips without pre-planning though.
