be interesting to see how the "state's rights" inclined SCOTUS will weigh "justified shooting by state law" vs "shot a federal officer". i fear they'll side with the latter but it will be one more federal over state decision to piss off the MAGA civil war cranks.

@paul_ipv6@infosec.exchange Oh the whole idea is a disaster waiting to happen now. At the moment, the bad behavior is all on the ICE side.Good guy/bad guy is pretty clear (I Mean, such as it is). With citizen fools shooting back, we lose that ethical/news-story-telling 'purity'/simplicity. It will blur things badly, and right before the election seems bad. But maybe she knows something. Or maybe she's an idiot; I have no idea.
