The biggest #KDE gaps at the moment are Konsole and, generally, Kontact, but that's not a BSD-specific issue.
Leaving aside hacking on QAccessible interfaces, I'm increasingly coming to the view that two of the biggest obstacles to #accessibility are cluttered graphical interfaces and incoherent keyboard shortcuts. Those are problems across the unix-like desktop.

@iaruffell@mastodon.scot @jbowen@mast.hpc.social Ritchie Frodomar .. Ritchie is a legally blind programmer and game developer, well-known for his work advocating for blind accessibility in software. He daily-drives KDE Plasma, and joined the KDE e.V. to help improve overall accessibility in Plasma and across the wider KDE ecosystem. https://ev.kde.org/corporate/staffcontractors/ That's our dedicated person for improving things and for steering other developers to be more accessibility-aware.
