I think they do this with all of their enemies, it's a result of late stage two-party political spectrum; there is benefit to characterizing their enemies as ineffective in order to gloat and present themselves as a better choice to the masses, but there is also a benefit to characterizing them as dangerous since it spurs their base into action. Their stupid Turkish 🪳 brains don't immediately spot any contradiction there so they just greedily attempt to do both, unable to keep a consistent narrative between 5-minute YouTube clips.
