RE: https://social.coop/@cwebber/117440946737028822 attribution is a bedrock social concept for me. it's a major way we navigate the world, discover new things, develop taste, interact with one another in a positive way. even in a fully post-capitalist world it would still be important. what's that band you're listening to? who drew that art on your t-shirt? that sandwich looks good, where's it from? that's clever, who said that? i trust [person's] opinions on [subject]. etc. anything that removes or muddies attribution is socially corrosive.
