Surprise Report: "Meta briefly disabled ads on the Facebook page of Brazil’s leftwing president on Friday – just days before he faces a far-right challenger in national elections." But it allows paid posts calling for the military to ‘take back power.' Pres Lula da Silva's campaign has filed an appeal & is awaiting explanation. https://novaramedia.com/2026/09/28/facebook-blocks-lulas-campaign-ads-just-days-before-brazil-election/ #BrazilElection #EUPol #USPol #FascistFacebook #news #Lula #Meta .

@DrALJONES@mastodon.social I can't understand why Facebook isn't being banned by countries outside of the USA for all the same reasons that the US banned TikTok....

@DrALJONES@mastodon.social There's more there: > Jurema Werneck, executive director of Amnesty International Brazil, said Meta’s failure to catch the ads was “deeply alarming” and “shows that Meta is not doing enough to prevent its platform from being a vector of disinformation, while continuing to profit from the content and advertising systems that enable its spread.” As we know Meta I will openly call this malice.

@DrALJONES@mastodon.social This alone is enough to justify destroying Meta. #CorporateDeathPenalty #Meta
