one thing thats annoying about forth is other languages keep stealing its file extensions gforth likes .fs and .fb but .fs is now also used for F# causing trouble with vim filetype detection some people even like .f even though the original first predecessor to forth (chuck moore's 1957 stack based calculator program so he didnt have to constantly compile fortran for individual computations) was in fortran swiftforth's .fth works but i just hate it. its unpronuncible
