There were a few lingerers; that type that always stay just a little longer than their welcome. When they finally left, I was able to settle in to my casket in peace. Alt sentence 2 to ramp the horror: The last one walked out the door, and with it my last hope at someone noticing my body lying in the casket was not quite dead.
