Let those who call themselves ‘anti-militarists’ look at the consequences of their politics. Last night, Kyiv once again came under a massive Russian attack. @solidaritycollectives@social.edist.ro the militarists in the EU are still buying russian gas for over a billion euros a year. The militarists in Germany are still cuddling Schröder and the AfD and BSW, with known ties to russia. The militarists in Germany had to finish NordStream 1 and 2. There's no real plan to take Putin's (and his other cronies') wealth around the world and use it for Ukraine. But yeah, we need more young people dying and getting maimed and traumatized. And we can't even try to enlist people in their 20s or 30s, with better mental resilience and social support nets. We have to take the youngest and most vulnerable. Russian aggression has been a problem for decades but we HAD to buy their cheap gas and fill their war chest. Investing in alternatives which would reside and belong to the european countries themselves was too radical. And not to talk about Trump and Putin.
