I did turn away the ekg tech position interview as it was really quite overwhelming in terms of workload, and what you have to do, especially in the ER This is what you have to do: Perform electrocardiograms, operate 24/48-hour Holter monitors, manage stress ECG equipment, and utilize PowerChart Cardiovascular while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality. And deal with patients that are anxious, nervous and may likely try to fight the staff due to the uncertainity. I was gonna try to go for it but decided it would not have been the right fit. Still gonna shoot for something that is a better fit, I did put in for an overnight pharmacy tech position, and I'll see if I get anything on it.
